Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Perioperative Support Tech II \(1\.0 FTE, Days\) in Anethesia at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Perioperative Support Tech II will assist the Anesthesiologist with the evaluation and monitoring of patients during the perioperative phase of procedures and in other areas of the hospital where anesthesia is administered\.
In this position you will:
Expedite patient flow through the perioperative area, maintaining patient safety and customer satisfaction
Set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment
Assist in sterile or Isolation areas
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent with a medical or science\-based secondary education program
Basic Life Support \(BLS\) certification
Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist \(MA\-P\) certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support \(ACLS\) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support \(PALS\) certification
Anesthesia Tech certification through ASATT \(The American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians\)
Previous experience in an Anesthesia Department
