The Duke University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a BC/BE, Orthopaedic surgeon to join the Division of Adult Reconstruction. Ideal candidates will be fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction (primary/revision hip and knee arthroplasty), and also have a strong interest in research and teaching. The clinical practice will be in Wake County, with surgical cases performed at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Call coverage would be in conjunction with Duke Orthopaedic physicians in Raleigh, currently a practice of ten surgeons that brings excellence to the greater Raleigh area with a wide array of orthopaedic services and provides the highest quality continuum of care for patients of all ages.
Candidates with research aspirations can receive a university appointment and support across the broad range of research themes in the department. Specific interest in clinical outcomes research in hip and knee arthroplasty is a plus. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and training.
