Technician Radiology Imaging
Reporting to the Director of Imaging, the Temecula Valley Hospital Radiology Technician is responsible for operating all diagnostic radiology equipment and performing diagnostic radiology procedures.
The Radiology Technician is responsible for operating either the CT or MR equipment. The Technician must be able to analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians written orders or obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality images and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and oneself. Radiology Technicians routinely assist the Radiologist during procedures and if necessary prepares the room, tray and supplies.
