The Maternal Child Health Patient Care Director will join a compassionate and experienced leadership team in Obstetric Services. Through a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach, the Assistant Director will work with other leaders in Mother/Baby Services to provide comprehensive quality care to newborns and their families.
The Assistant Labor & Delivery Nurse Director will function as a member of the hospital’s clinical services leadership team and will report directly to the Clinical Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The Nurse Director will oversee Obstetrics Services with a focus on performance improvement, staffing, clinical training, and implementing department-wide goals. The Assistant Director will be in charge of the unit operational management, fiscal management, professional staff development, quality assessments and improvement, and the application of policies and procedures along with providing hands on nursing care when needed.

Bachelor’s in Nursing required.
2+ years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities.
Requires strong planning skills and a solid understanding of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse, BLS certification.
