As the Clinical Coordinator for our Ambulatory Training Program, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical training for LVNs and Medical Assistants. You will: Prepare curriculum based upon the needs of each new hire group. Identify target areas for focus driven training. Assess students’ ability to perform tasks within scope via Care Connect and Simulations. Orient, precept and mentor staff. Assist with identifying staff members’ learning needs. Deliver annual skills competencies and department specific training for float staff.
We’re seeking a self-directed professional with: A minimum of two years of experience teaching/training clinical staff. Previous ambulatory experience performing procedures typically associated with Medical Assistants and LVN’s. Exceptional communication skills. Knowledge of curriculum development. Background assisting new hire staff in unfamiliar environments. Current California LVN License. CPR, Phlebotomy and EKG certification. Current IV certification highly desired.
