Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s most distinguished academic medical centers, announces a search for the Chair of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology. The ideal candidate will have experience leading in a large integrated healthcare organization. The Chair will have responsibility for the clinical, educational, research and financial programs within the department. A faculty appointment, commensurate with experience, is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
We are searching for a physician leader to advance the Department into the future. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with an excellent record of clinical service and outcomes, teaching and scholarship with experience in leadership, administrative skills, mentoring of faculty, fellows, residents and medical students, and program development. Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics and eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio is required.
The cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology cover all subspecialty areas, from fetal care to neurocardiology, and offer the full range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. Their commitment to lifelong congenital heart disease management leads to close collaboration with Cleveland Clinic’s top-ranked adult heart program for seamless transition to adult care.
