Hospitalist Physician - Atlantic Health Careers

Morristown Medical Center is hiring a Full Time Hospitalist to join our dynamic team consisting of skilled Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers working together in a focused environment to provide high quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Main role would be house-coverage for patients admitted to the regular medical-surgical floors.
• Schedule - 12 hour shifts.
• Order and review appropriate testing and treatment for admitted patients
• No major Procedures
• Communicate with staff, patients, and families as needed in the care of admitted patients

Required:

• Current license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
• BE/BC
• Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") License, New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances ("CDS") Registration, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (or Board eligible in Internal Medicine and must achieve Board certification within two (2) years after the completion of his/her medical residency training)
