The role youâ™ll contribute: This position requires the Tech / Sonographer to be proficient in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac and vascular disorders. This position should have knowledge of the arterial vascular system.

The value youâ™ll bring to the team:

• Performs special procedures in Cardiovascular Department
• Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Doppler Analysis (for both cardiac and vascular), Color Flow Analysis (for both cardiac and vascular), Carotid Ultrasound and Stress Test Echocardiograms
• Administers cardiac diagnostic procedures for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment, and work area.
• Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and uses independent judgment to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.

The expertise and experiences youâ™ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Must have an Associateâ™s Degree from an allied health program (CVT,US, Respiratory, RN, Radiology, Nuc Med, etc.) or equivalent certification
• Must have a minimum of one year of Echocardiography experience 

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS certification required 
• Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular required
