Medical Cardiologist, Non-Invasive
The Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI), a division of Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, is recruiting a general/non-invasive academic Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular division.
Our group is seeking a BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist who is looking to join an employed academic group model. Through the affiliation with Creighton SOM, they will join our faculty and be integrally involved in our cardiology fellowship. As clinical faculty they will oversee the training of future fellows, as well as medical students and residents at our academic health center. Clinical research opportunities are encouraged with support available.
The position consist of a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with a single clinic location located directly on campus. You will have access to full support staff. The group currently provides a comprehensive array of services with continued growth into the structural and interventional field. You will enjoy a great work-life balance in a rapidly growing city.
Requirements:
- MD/DO Degree
- Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
- Echocardiography (BC/BE)
- Nuclear experience preferred
- Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
